100 g flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 200 g margarine, 250 g sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 6 eggs, 1 kg quark, 1 tbsp lemon juice
It’s all about the non-existent base with this cake, making it light and seriously moreish! The recipe is in German, because we just couldn’t find a base free cheescake in English, but you can probably put your trust in Google Translate. Quark was an ingredient I had never heard of before Phine came along but it’s a really great substitute for cream cheese in this recipe.
