We love fish, and just couldn’t walk by when we saw this beauty. In Greifswald (where I actually live in Germany, and Alice lived for a few months) it’s easy to get a lot of great and fresh fish, as it is by the Baltic Sea. Here in Lincoln, it is something really special for us.
These are two ways we were enjoying this trout. The first one is my creation (spinach, I love you!), very simple, just a fried fillet, some lemonjuice, and you’re done.
Alice baked the fish with lemon slices inside, arranged it on lettuce and made a kind of ‘mayonnaise-lemon-caper-parsley-sauce’ on the side and ate it with some toasted home made bread.
